Membrane Treatment in Water

The class will discuss Membranes as they relate to the potable water supply including desalination. We will review membrane technology terminology, explanation of reverse osmosis and membrane materials make up and pore size in relationship to filtration processes such as nano filtration, ultra filtration, and micro filtration. Cleaning technologies, testing, troubleshooting and repair of fibers. treatment plant and case studies will be used.
