Evergreen Rural Water of Washington

Stage 1 Disinfection By-Products Rule

Beginning January 2004 all community or nontransient noncommunity (NTNC) water systems that use continuous chlorination or ozonation during the treatment process must monitor their disinfectant residuals and disinfection by-products.

In order to make this easier, the Department of Health has developed a template for systems that are required to have a Disinfection Byproducts Monitoring Plan. The template is based on an Excel© spreadsheet. To download the template, click below. For specific questions or help contact Kitty Weisman, cweisman@erwow.org.

This template was developed by the Washington State Department of Health, future updates will be availble on the DOH web site. Click on the link on the side panel to visit the DOH website.
