North Beach Water District is accepting applications for the position of Office Manager.

The ideal candidate for this position will be a highly motivated professional who works well in a busy office and is able to communicate well with customers and fellow employees. Customer Service is North Beach Water District’s top priority.
The ideal candidate will have managerial or executive experience and be very organized and self-sufficient with significant book keeping or accounting experience. Experience working for water utilities or government agencies is desired.

Pay Range $30,000 to $45,000 DOE.

Under the direction of the Maintenance Operations Supervisor and Lead Maintenance Worker this position is responsible for asisting in the City’s water system repair and maintenance. Duties include but are not limited to: install, repair and replace water mains, pumps, meters, and fire hydrants; maintain and repair reservoirs, wells and booster stations; flush the water system and conduct pressure and volume testing; hydro excavate to locate water mains or service lines; communicate with the public in potentially stressful situations; test, replace and repair water meters; read and record water meter activity as needed; operate a variety of specialized and heavy equipment; respond to off-hour emergency call-outs; and perform other duties as assigned.
