Waterworks Certification Classes -Written on behalf of ERWoW; By Mary Howell, BMIWashington State drinking water certification exams are now computer based and Evergreen Rural Water of Washington (ERWoW) is ready to assist you with this new venture. We will continue to provide our very successful three-day Water Distribution Manager (WDM), Water Treatment Plant Operator (WTPO), and Cross Connection Specialist (CCS) classes three times a year on both sides of the State. In addition to the three-day classes, ERWoW will be offering one-day refresher classes for the WDM/WDS on the west side on a monthly basis and on the east side on a quarterly basis. WTPO one-day classes will be offered quarterly and the one-day CCS refresher will be offered monthly. In the even you take any of our three-day refresher classes and you fail to get a passing grade on your Waterworks certification exam, ERWoW will allow you to, one time, take a one-day refresher class at no charge. If you take a three-day refresher class at another facility and fail to get a passing grade, ERWoW will allow you to attend our one-day refresher class, once, at 50% off the cost of the class. It is our continued goal at ERWoW to assist you in being the best operator you can be. As Washington State slides into a new era in waterworks certification testing, we will strive to assist you in every way that we can.

It was purchased for the Town of Eatonville for the purpose of running a tracer study through the new chlorine contact tank. This product originally cost about $450.00. USDA's Sandi Boughton Receives Pioneer AwardExecutive Director Gary Rhoades presented Sandi Boughton with ERWoW's Pioneer Award for her dedication to rural water and wastewater here in the state of Washington. Sandi Boughton, former USDA Community Program Director in the state of Washington has accepted a position in their D.C. office to oversee the nationwide USDA Water & Wastewater Programs.
